Inter alia, the Committee recommends to ratify the following rate of monthly living wage per person for Year 2008: 610 Hryvnias since 1 January, 622 Hryvnias since 1 April, 624 Hryvnias since 1 July, 643 Hryvnias since 1 October (as regards basic social and demographic groups of society).
The Committee calls for amending the Laws "On Basic Principles of Social Protection of Veterans of Work and other Elderly Citizens of Ukraine", "On Basic Principles of Social Security of the Disabled in Ukraine", "On Social Protection of the Children of War" and other Laws aimed at enhancement of public social protection.
The Committee members resolved to forward the motions to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Budget.
